The book i chose is called "Does My Head Look Big In This?" by Randa Abdel-Fattah. I have no idea how to pronounce her name but her last name sounds like fat to me. It has some girl on the cover and a bunch of polka dots and it looks rediculous. But the ladies at Barnes and Noble don't know what the heck they are talking about. So anyways. The author is Australian-born-Muslim-Palestinian-Egyptian-chocoholic I guess. And she campagins for Palestinian human rights and all that good stuff. She currently lives in Austrailia. The book is soposed to be about an Australian-Palestinian girl living in a suborb of Melboune. Which sounds pretty weird to me. Shes pretty worried about wearing the "hijab", or the Muslim head scarf, i geuss. It shows a deep sense of her faith and she makes a big decision about it. And I'm probably going to start it on Wednesday because i found another book I'd rather read now :). Okay. Love.
